Regiments
Organized at Evansville, IN August 5, 1861 and
mustered in at Indianapolis, IN on August 16 and moved to St. Louis, MO. The Battery lost
during service three Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and one Officer and 31
Enlisted men by disease for a total loss of 35 lives. Mustered out on August 22, 1865 at
Montgomery, AL. The chronology below shows their assignments, service, and
